Transition Programs

Impact Group works with either a buyer or seller of a business, or portion of a business, to find an appropriate cultural fit, a fair price, and reasonable terms. Steps need to be taken early to ensure the best cultural transition possible. Any type of agreement must focus as much on the people and structure of the business itself as the financial transaction.

Traditionally, when an owner, or ownership group, looks to leave the business and intends it to remain with family members or employees, more emphasis is placed on those who are departing rather than those who are remaining. To ensure departing owners get what they want requires a strong and smooth transition to the next generation. Through this program, learn how to sort through the questions of succession and build a plan to give your business the best chance at long-term success for the future.

Few things are as predictable as the upset a customer feels when a salesperson or account manager they have been dealing with, and who understands their business, leaves. And yet, little, if any, thought and consideration goes into how to seamlessly transition the customer to the next person they will need to build trust in. In this workshop session, learn to create a strategy for how to effectively transition a customer to a colleague, reducing the risk that the customer will become a free agent and test the competitive waters.
In a two-part leadership program, learn that leadership is a person looking at themselves and how they affect others around them. Learn how to: manage conflict, determine your own paradigms and how they may be affecting your team, and enable each team member to succeed in their job.
